Camden Glass Continues To Stand Out From The Crowd
Camden Glass, the glass processing division of Camden Group, is proud to announce they have passed EN1279 Part 3. Relating to the gas leakage rate of sealed units, Part 3 is particularly difficult to achieve. In passing the test, Camden is the only company in Ireland to have passed the standard and joins an elite number of companies throughout the UK to have achieved it.
Deborah Campbell, Quality Manager at Camden Glass, explains why achieving this particular standard is important for the company: "We've worked closely with Edgetech's technical team and invested significant time and resources to achieve this standard so our customers can continue to enjoy the highest specification units available. Camden is the only company in Ireland with the Part 3 element pass on BSEN 1279 so we can prove our products are better than others on the market."
Recent Investments
While the industry seems beset with stories of doom and gloom, Camden Glass is making substantial investments in modern machinery for their state of the art glass processing production facilities.
Recent additions to the factory include:
Optimal Thermal Performance as standard
We recognize the importance of energy efficiency, and the movement towards green technology is pushing the transformation of the building industry. Camden Glass has access to the latest in glass and glazing technology, and can offer solutions to maximize the energy efficiency of your commercial buildings.
With this in mind Camden are pleased to offer Super Spacer TriSeal as an option for their commercial sealed units and glazed frames. The patented design features composite laminating technology without the use of metal, resulting in excellent thermal and durability performance. Super Spacer TriSeal is a flexible, silicone foam spacer bar designed to satisfy the toughest commercial glazing demands.
Camden Glass have received Dow Corning approval, so when choosing our commercial glass products you can be assured of quality, performance and peace of mind, as Dow Corning's Silicone Structural Sealant has been specifically formulated for structural glazing applications; reducing the potential for broken glass to be blown from its frame, increasing the safety of building occupants and pedestrians.
Through continued research and development we are constantly proactive in adapting to market demand and strive to remain one of the leading manufacturers of commercial glass.
