National Window Films Protect Major Employment Sites

National Window Films are currently engaged in the protection of major employment sites throughout the UK.

The current threat level in Great Britain as published by the Home Office is Substantial meaning a terrorist attack is a strong possibility and in Northern Ireland is Severe meaning an attack is highly likely.

In order to help mitigate casualties and damage in the event of a blast, National Window Films are working with several banking establishments, police authorities and other major employers to ensure that casualties and damage caused by flying glass in the event of a blast is kept to a minimum. Blast mitigation film and edge retention systems from National Window Films are tested to ISO16933 and are used as a retrospective measure to make existing glazing safe in the event of an explosion. These products are currently protecting some of the most security sensitive buildings in the United Kingdom and globally.
