Covair Structures Complete Successful Projects
Covair Structures, the leading air dome manufacturers based in the UK, have recently completed a three tennis court air dome in Nass Lawn tennis court, and also a two court tennis dome in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
The air domes are attractive inflatable structures, transparent and so light that when you are in them it still feels as if you are outside.
A Covair Dome can be left up all year which would give the maximum bad weather playing hours.
However there would be a few days in mid-summer when the dome would be unbearably hot inside.
Most clubs dismantle the dome during the summer months. The ideal setup is to have a storage shed The polythene has a life of approximately 5 years. It would be prudent, however, to base the economics on replacing the membrane every 4 years to allow for accidental damage and wear and tear during use.
A Covair Dome is suitable for many different uses, including tennis, basketball, bowls, ski slope, mini-golf, athletics, general school sports halls, swimming pools and many commercial storage or manufacturing applications.
