Forrest Fences In £9.5m Boundary Framework

Forrest, the leading Northern social housing regeneration specialist, has secured a place on Halton Housing Trust's framework worth up to £9.5 million.

The Cheshire-based housing association has selected Forrest and two other contractors to deliver more than 30 miles of perimeter fencing to 4,000 different properties.

The framework, which will be completed over the next four years, will include single access and driveway gates within neighbourhoods across Runcorn and Widnes.

Forrest has a long established relationship with Halton. Earlier this year it secured a place on the Trust’s £40 million 'Beyond The Garden Gate' neighbourhood investment programme and this win places Forrest in the unique position of being the only contractor to have secured a place on both of the frameworks.

Mark Lyons, Managing Director at Forrest, said: "Halton Housing Trust is dedicated to improving the environments in which their customers live and this framework is the latest in a long line of investments in its communities.

"For us, this agreement is testament to our own commitment to building lasting partnerships with our clients by delivering high quality projects and working responsibly within their neighbourhoods."

P Casey and George Cox and Sons were the two other contractors to secure spots on Halton's framework though Forrest have sole responsibility for delivery during the first year of the Framework.
