CIH Seeks Top Talent For New Governing Board

The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is inviting applications to join its new Governing Board which will set the strategic direction for the professional body for housing.
Recruiting a strong and effective board is an important part of CIH's work to represent and support the housing sector at a time of unprecedented change, challenge and opportunities.
The new Governing Board and governance structure comes into place following a two-year root and branch review which will make CIH more transparent, inclusive and fit for the future.
The new Governing Board will be made up of a maximum of 15 members who will be recruited on the basis of skills and experience. It will take effect from January 2012.
Helen Collins, CIH President, said: "These are exciting times for CIH and for the sector. I am delighted to invite talented and experienced housing professionals to apply to join our new Governing Board. It is a fantastic opportunity to work with the CIH Executive Team to ensure our organisational success and to support a strong and professional sector committed to improvement and the highest standards of delivery."
