Planet Partitioning, the UK's largest independent partitioning specialist, has provided a one-stop shop for DVB Bank with the recent fit-out of its UK offices at London's Finsbury Circus.
The internal walls, doors and ceilings were all supplied by Planet for the total refurbishment of the single-storey facility housing meeting rooms, private offices and open plan work spaces.
To create an attractive, functional and contemporary work environment, Planet products supplied were MF ceilings, Drywall partitioning, and single and double-glazed frameless partitioning with Solar dry-jointing to provide a virtually seamless finish. Doors comprised of walnut door frames with glazed and veneered door leaves to meet the client’s exacting requirements. Noteworthy features of the job included faceting for the directors’ offices giving the impression of gently curved glazing. Advanced Solar single-glazing and Fireclear doorsets were supplied to the directors’ offices as they were able to meet stringent performance criteria offering a 30/0 fire-rating – an exceptionally high rating for frameless glazed products.
At a value of around £250,000, the DVB Bank project was completed at the end of January on time and within budget to the satisfaction of ISIS Projects Ltd. who were the main contractor for the job.
