The community centre project, which is due for completion in the autumn, is being carried out by Enzo's Construction. Nolan Commercial was contracted to provide the powder coated aluminium framed windows and doors and high level glazing around the changing room areas, which will provide natural light and ventilation while retaining privacy.
The combination of the building's single and two-storey design will house four large changing rooms, which will open directly onto two sports pitches alongside the main entrance, well lit foyer and large community function room with views of all three sports playing areas. The first floor also includes a music and conference room with a balcony with views over the rugby pitch.
When it opens, the new centre will be used by over 4,500 people on a regular basis, from over 65 different community groups.
Work also continues for Nolan Commercial on two major projects for John Weaver at Tycroes School in Ammanford and at Carmarthenshire County Council offices on Spilman Street, Carmarthen.
Nolan Commercial has also won a further six projects across the county including two schools and a village hall housed in a historical and important building where aluminium ‘steel replacement’ windows have been specified to match the existing fenestration. Work also continues to strengthen the ongoing partnership Nolan Commercial has with Cantref, winning a number of smaller projects in various locations across the county.
