Signlex Updates And Illuminates Little Chef
Little Chef, Britain's favourite roadside restaurant chain, has been in our hearts since the 1950s and over the next five years will complete an exciting £30Million programme.
The iconic roadside eatery is also at the centre of the biggest roll-out programme of electric vehicle charging points of their type worldwide and it continues to look at new opportunities for growth.
Leeds based signage consultants and installers, Signlex, were drafted in to provide advice and to deliver new corporate signage at Little Chef's new concept restaurants. Signlex has up to now fast-tracked signs for 10 restaurant re-vamps, utilizing energy efficient LED illuminated lettering. Also, a complete range of internal and external signage, not forgetting to mention digitally printed ceiling tiles, which make for an eye-catching view whilst enjoying Little Chef's new menu.
Simon Belton, Managing Director of Signlex Limited explains:"The new concept work commissioned by Little Chef has seen 10 sites transformed during this year alone. The restaurants stand tall against competitors with a striking contemporary image which is easily recognisable along major trunk roads servicing the UK. The new signs, especially when lit up at night are outstanding and I am proud that Signlex has played a significant part in delivering a new look to one of Britain's most iconic brands.
"At Signlex we understand that the brand is probably the single most important aspect of a business, being the identifying interface with the audience. It is vital that corporate signage creates the right impression and we pride ourselves on being able to deliver this with precision first time, every time.
"In addition to providing corporate signage we provide dynamic digital technology and audio visual solutions having found that businesses are recognising the power it has to enhance both brand and profile.
"It is a pleasure working with Little Chef and we look forward to exciting challenges ahead."
Chris Cotton, Property Director for Little Chef said:"Utilising energy efficient resources is paramount to the Little Chef re-vamp and the energy efficient signage Signlex is rolling out for Little Chef is absolutely in line with our views on sustainability. Signlex have been a great support to the work we are doing in providing a refreshed look to our customers. They've quickly turned around a product that helps us reach our goal."
