Ibstock Revitalises Stand At National Self Build Centre
Ibstock, the UK's largest brickmaker, has revitalised its popular stand at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre with a complete make-over, giving visitors to the exhibition the chance to see more inspirational brick solutions for the self-build market, than ever before.
Featuring the UK's widest range of bricks, which include more colour and finish options than any other brickmaker, Ibstock's new stand is a must see for anyone looking to carry out a new build project.
The company also has a pioneering sustainable product offering on stand, including its innovative Elementix eco-freedom, Ecoterre Earth brick and CoolVault. Brick inherently has excellent sustainability credentials including excellent durability, long life, low maintenance and re-usability and with 20 of the Ibstock’s brick factories having achieved a very good rating in the BES 6001 for responsible sourcing, builders using Ibstock bricks can claim extra ecopoints under the Code for Sustainable Homes.
Andrew Halstead-Smith, Marketing Manager at Ibstock, commented: "There are up to 20,000 people in the UK now choosing to build their own home each year, and many others carrying out a renovation project or conversion. As the UK's largest brickmaker, with a product range in excess of 400 bricks, we felt that it was important to further support this growing sector and revitalise and update our stand at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre.
"Self builders are always on the lookout for products that will make their projects stand out from the crowd and with so many different size, finish, colour and regional variations to brick available, selecting the right product can be a daunting task. However, our new stand is designed, not only showcase our extensive offering and provide the very best technical support on how best to use our products, but also to inspire and help self builders get inventive more with brick. It’s also worth remembering that with such a vast range on offer, finding a solution which will meet local planning requirements couldn't be easier."
