New Technical Guide To Architectural Panels Launched
A comprehensive new guide to architectural panels has been released by Panel Systems.
The guide contains detailed technical information, including edge detail drawings to suit all project requirements and technical specifications.
It also includes a U-value calculation table, which enables the contractor or specifier to ascertain the correct thickness of core insulation required to meet their given U Value.
The guide also contains a core selection data table which means architects and contractors can quickly and easily identify insulation materials with specific product characteristics, such as fire retardancy, acoustic properties and compressive strength.
The brochure outlines the capabilities of panel systems and details a wide range of available facing materials such as powder coated aluminium, high pressure laminate and plastisol steel.
Danny Phelan, Sales Manager at Panel Systems, said: "We wanted to produce a really comprehensive guide to composite panels, which made it even easier for building designers and contractors to find the right type of panel for their project.
"All the panels we produce are bespoke and it is our expertise in the industry which means we can recommend facing and core materials to suit specific performance requirements."
The technical guide is part of Panel Systems' commitment to customer service, which also includes full technical support and assistance with the design of panels. All the company’s systems are approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2000, to provide added reassurance to customers.
