Following the acquisition of Hartl mobile crushers in 2010, Atlas Copco Construction & Mining has intensified their focus on the mobile crushing industry with the appointment of Steve McDonough as Regional Sales Manager for Power Crushers & Hydraulic Attachments.
Steve McDonough, who will be responsible for the North of England region, commented on his appointment: "I relish joining such a competitive company, and look forward to helping to establish Atlas Copco as the leading provider in the mobile crushing sector."
Steve joins Atlas Copco with significant experience in the Construction & Mining sector. He started his career in the industry as an Operations Manager at Hanson Aggregates, before taking up a position at Tarmac Aggregates, the UK's largest supplier of aggregates to the construction industry, in 2002. This was followed in 2007 by a move to KVM Industries of Denmark, where Steve worked as their UK Sales Manager until 2010. Before joining Atlas Copco Steve also worked as a Sales Manager at Arco, where he was responsible for quarries, utilities and roads.
In his new role as Regional Sales Manager Steve will be responsible for sales of Atlas Copco’s range of quality mobile crushing equipment for the demolition, recycling and quarrying industries across the North of the UK. This includes Atlas Copco’s rig mounted hydraulic attachments, including breakers, compacters, cutters, grapples, posthole borers and pulverizers.
