RIBA Launches Future Leaders Programme 2012
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has announced the Future Leaders Programme 2012, with the first of three training events for future leaders of the architects' profession to be held on Tuesday 13 March 2012 at the RIBA, 66 Portland Place, W1.
Tailored to partners or directors looking to enhance their leadership skills and individuals striving to be a future leader, the programme offers three thought-provoking, half-day sessions to provide delegates with an insight into subjects such as successful team leadership and handling high-profile clients.
Included in the line-up for the event on 13 March are Peter Nowlan of Nowlan Associates, Dale Sinclair from Dyer Associates and David Partridge from Argent.
The Future Leaders Programme, in partnership with the Rooflight Company, was established in 2011 by the Large Practice Group of the RIBA as a means of providing the ambitious next generation of British-based architects with the necessary skills to lead their practices in an increasingly complex profession and globalised economy.
RIBA Vice President of Practice and Profession Jane Duncan said: "All our speakers and workshops have been specially selected to provide a business overlay to the skills learnt during Part 3 courses. The Future Leaders Programme is a wonderful cost effective opportunity of enhancing your own business skills or those of your staff."
The remaining 2012 dates for the RIBA Future Leaders Programme are Tuesday 1 May 2012 and Tuesday 2 October 2012.
