New Poll Shows Housing Associations Best Employers In The UK
A Sunday Times Top 100 list published yesterday is dominated by housing associations.
Housing association staff voted their organisations as the country's best employers in the Sunday Times 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For list.
The poll, topped by One Vision Housing, quizzed staff on how their organisations fared on issues such as workplace culture, leadership, career development, pay and benefits and personal well-being.
Overall 45 housing associations were featured with seven in the top ten.
Federation chief executive David Orr said: "This is very welcome - but not surprising - news. Housing associations provide friendly, diverse and innovative work environments where staff can thrive and continue to develop their careers.
"For so many associations to make the top 100, despite the tough economic climate, shows just how many talented leaders we have in our sector.
"A happy workforce gives a better service. As housing associations provide vital support to local communities, this news is also great for tenants. Congratulations to all featured in the list."
