Listers Down To 0.7 With Smart Sash Option
Trade Window Fabricator Lister Trade Frames, of Stoke on Trent, have become the latest Bowater Halo fabricator to offer the revolutionary and energy efficient Smart Sash window system.
Listers say that this addition to their range gives their commercial and trade customers some real advantages in this energy and price conscious market.
The Smart Sash PVCu window system has been developed to achieve a 0.7 W/m2K U-value with 44mm triple-glazed argon units. It is available with a range of other glazing options and it delivers all this with a standard 70mm outerframe and standard hardware for simple installation. This unique design reduces costs to a minimum while also maintaining, or even increasing, sash sizes despite the 50% increase in glass weight due to triple glazing.
The window is an extension of the System10 range that has been held in high regard for over 25 years by Local Authorities, construction professionals and homeowners alike. The windows meet both BS7412 and BS7950, the standard specified under the Secured by Design initiative overseen by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO). Smart Sash also maintains the 'traditional' appearance of the window externally, unlike many of the continental solutions. It also provides a commensurate reduction in sound transmission, delivering reductions of up to 50db.
David Allen, Listers' Commercial Installations Manager, says that he is pleased to have the new system as an option for their commercial clients. "It's really simple to install," said David, "just like any other PVCu window from Listers’ range, but it ticks all the boxes with those clients looking for a cost effective energy efficient glazing option for either new build or refurb. Please pardon the pun but, I can see it opening a lot of new doors for us."
Listers have been at the forefront of the Window Energy Efficiency market for many years now and their decision to add the Smart Sash System to their range reinforces their belief that cost effective Low-U and Energy Efficient windows are an important part of their future growth strategy.
Listers Sales Director, Phil Warren, says that this is the first of many new products being launched this year for their Trade and Commercial Customers. "You can never stand still if you are to succeed in this market. Listers are always looking for new opportunities to grow and improve their offering. Smart Sash fits well into our model and we are welcoming all new enquiries."
