MAM Software Announces Latest Release Of Its Trader Business Management Application
MAM Software is pleased to announce a new and enhanced version of its Trader business management application for merchants and wholesalers.
The result of months of development and liaison with merchants across the country, Trader R016 offers a wealth of functionality that helps users reduce costs and improve productivity.
Trader R016 provides many new or updated features designed to simplify stock management procedures. Min/max recalculations have been extended to ensure that stock is kept at optimum levels and enhanced controls have been imposed for non-stocked items. Internal stock movements are streamlined with updated inter-branch transfers (IBTs) and automated branch stock levelling routines.
Purchasing processes are also improved, thanks to R016's new weight-based supplier quantity breaks and new 'cherry picker' multi-selection functionality. Users of R016 can also speed up goods receiving by using standard barcode scanners. Goods are scanned during the booking-in process and users are given the option to review and amend data before it is committed to the system.
Release R016 further enhances Trader's flexible point-of-sale. CRM functionality has been extended with the ability to display customer-specific promotions, credit limits, outstanding balances and rankings at point-of-sale. Quotes and suspended transactions can now be easily recovered from the customer detail tab or scanned from a printed document. And lost sale recording has also been enhanced with the addition of supplier and product range fields.
"This latest release demonstrates MAM's ongoing commitment to supplying class leading software to the merchant and wholesaler sectors," said MAM Software's Sales Director, Nigel Clemett. "Trader is being used by an ever-increasing number of companies to enhance productivity, reduce costs and improve profitability. This new functionality illustrates our ability to provide solutions that add value to those companies looking to transform their business."
