One of the oldest renewable companies in the UK has picked up a prestigious award for its excellence in installing renewable technology on its 30th anniversary.
Dulas was awarded ‘Installer of the Year’ at the 7th British Renewable Energy Awards, which celebrates the achievements of companies that strive consistently to further renewable energy in the UK.
Dulas, which has offices in Wales and Scotland, was shortlisted along with five other companies and was commended for their long term contribution to the industry across a wide range of technologies and project types. Particular commendation was given to its work providing solar vaccine refrigerators in the developing world.
Working across four core technologies, hydro, wind, biomass and solar, the Dulas team of engineers and specialists has completed thousands of projects around the world for clients including the National Trust, UNICEF and the Pan American Health Organisation.

The REA is a not-for-profit trade association, representing British renewable energy producers and promoting the use of renewable energy in the UK. The REA endeavours to achieve the right regulatory framework for renewable to deliver an increasing contribution to the UK’s electricity, heat and transport needs.
