Construction Repair Specialist Plastic Surgeon Wins 'Specialist Contractor Of The Year'
Plastic Surgeon - cosmetic repair specialists for damage to - Plastic and GRP, Woods and Veneers, Stone and Brick, Ceramics and Enamel, Glass and Glazing, Metals and Foils, and other Surfaces is pleased to announce they have won the award for ‘Specialist Contractor of the Year’ at the prestigious Construction News Awards 2012.
The award recognises the specialist cosmetic repair and fine finishing service that Plastic Surgeon has developed for the construction industry over the past 20 years. Rob Mouser, Managing Director of Plastic Surgeon said: “We are thrilled to have won such a prestigious award. This gives us industry wide recognition for our comprehensive cosmetic repair service and the innovative business processes that we have developed. From our origins in the automotive sector, we successfully adapted the service for housebuilders before diversifying into construction and other areas such as FM. Over the past 20 years we have grown to become the UK’s largest and only national provider.”
Rob went on to say: “Innovative use of technology has contributed to our success. From our centralised repair booking service and VisibilITy customer reporting system, to our newly launched iPhone Snag Reporter App.”
Rob concluded: “We continually invest in training our Finishers and in developing new repair techniques and materials. Fully accredited by all industry bodies including ISO:14001 and ISO:9001, we now provide fine finishing services for most of the UK’s construction companies including Cynon Valley Hospital for Vinci, Mann Island for BAM and most recently working at The Shard for Ellmer Construction.”
The award's judges said: “Any main contractor would want our winning company as part of their supply chain. They showed a great diversification strategy, starting from the car industry, moving to housing, now construction and into repairs on cruise ships.”
All the winners were announced lat a ceremony attended by almost 1,000 guests at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
