Ultra Tile On Display In Trendy FENDI Boutique
Rapid set, flexible tile adhesive, Ultra Tile ProFlex SP has been used by The Great Northern Tiling Company to install tiled floors within the Fendi boutique on Sloane Street, London.
The project was not a straightforward job; an uncoupling system was installed as well as the tiles. Renowned Ultra Tile adhesive, ProFlex SP was chosen for use to secure the tiles and uncoupling system due to its S1 classification, which supports the product’s ability to accommodate movement – perfect for such situations!
A single part product, polymer modified for increased bond strength and enhanced performance. The adhesive allows a 40 minute pot life and for grouting to begin after 2.5 hours. This performance spec was ideally suited to the large format granite tiles (measuring 1200 x 600), which were specified by Fendi's interior design.
ProFlex SP is a floor or wall tile adhesive that can be used on interior and exterior applications, both in wet and dry conditions. The product can be used in conjunction with under floor heating systems and has an application thickness of 3-20mm.
The adhesive's unique qualities make it ideal for fixing a variety of tile types, including ceramic, porcelain and natural stone to most common building substrates. It is also an ideal product for use in communal showers and swimming pools due to its exceptional water resistance.
With such an array of exceptional qualities it is no wonder the adhesive is one of Ultra Tile's leading products.
Fendi's new look London store is now 'wowing' customers as much as the brand's clothes do, and it has joined the list of worldwide locations boasted by the clothing retailer.
For further information on tiling onto floors using an uncoupling system, please request a copy of the Ultra Tile brochure that is now complete with installation guides. Uncoupling systems feature on page 28.
