One of Europe's leading equipment rental providers, Boels Rental of Sittard, Netherlands, has significantly expanded the availability of REID Lifting's lightweight, portable PORTA-GANTRY cranes across the continent.
Markets in Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, N. France, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria and Italy, with Hungary soon to follow, will now be able to benefit from a high quality portable lifting gantry solution that can be assembled on just 4 bolts and be easily transported and stowed. The unique PORTA-GANTRY range, engineered from REID's own optimised aluminium profiles, provides goods lifting from WLL 500 to 5000kg and also offers personnel lifting capabilities (compliant with EN 795 Class B), increasing the range applications of the cranes for end users and the utility for rental companies.
Boels has over 250 rental branches across Europe, and the decision to add over 50 additional PORTA-GANTRY systems to its rental fleet follows the success of the range in Boels’ native Netherlands market and the opportunities identified across this wider market.
"This significant extension to Boels’ gantry rental fleet is great news for end users across Europe," exclaims REID Lifting’s sales and marketing director, Phillip Ellis. "The PORTA-GANTRY has been an incredible success story for REID and its partners and especially offers resellers and rental firms the leading quality gantry system – no other gantry range can offer such a wide range of portable, safe gantry cranes, so quick to assemble and easy to deploy."
