As part of major re-development works in Malinslee, Shropshire, comprising of contemporary retail units and modern leisure amenities, a roofline solution was sought which delivered both a professional finish, alongside robust weather-proofing performance.
Specification by the client also stipulated that an efficient installation and low long-term maintenance were key criteria during the project.
Significant investment has already been made in the area, with a primary school, community services and the Stepping Stones Education Centre. Further development has also been earmarked in the form of a new doctors' surgery, with planning application having recently been submitted.
The Contour Aluminium fascia & soffit system was identified as the solution and incorporates a number of unique features to combine a professional facade with an extremely durable performance. For this project, design consultants at Contour suggested an angular design which yielded a modern, sleek aesthetic. However, Contour Casings design and manufacture fascia and soffit profiles to almost any size or shape, including curved, bullnose and elliptical designs. – with sections also fabricated to match existing profiles.
Supplied in 3m lengths as standard, fascias are custom made to suit the soffit width; plank systems also have concealed fixings. The ‘Secret-Fix’ panel system eliminates visible fixings to provide a seamless, uninterrupted soffit line. Panels can be supplied up to 4m in length and made to compliment matching windows, columns, mullions or other gridline influences.
Contour's Aluminium wall capping is fabricated in-house, ensuring complete stock and quality control. Advanced British manufacturing technology is used to deliver a product pure in form, approved by the client using 3-D CAD software. Contour offer a complete nationwide turnkey service. Dedicated technical support and delivery departments ensure projects conclude on time and on budget whenever Contour’s sustainable solutions are employed.
