Ultra Floor is pleased to announce the latest addition to its family of next generation flooring compounds!
Level IT 3 is an innovative multi-component bag & bottle system specifically developed for the smoothing and levelling of subfloors prior to the installation of floorcoverings. It consists of a polymer modified cementitious powder which can be used with either liquid A Super Dry or Liquid B Super Bond depending on sub-floor requirements. When mixed with liquid A Super Dry, it has enhanced drying and is suitable for use on most subfloors including concrete, sand/cement screeds, asphalt and surface damp proof membranes.
When mixed with liquid B Super Bond, it can be used over sound, thin applications of old adhesive residues as well as being ideal for dimensionally stable, mechanically fixed plywood subfloors, yet still retaining all of the characteristics of liquid A. Furthermore, it boasts improved flexibility and enhanced adhesion due to the addition of extra polymer.
Both liquids provide a smoothing underlayment for internal floors that complies with the requirements of BS EN 13813:2002 Screed Material and Floor Screeds. The liquids are low in odour and protein free, making the system suitable for use in biologically sensitive as well as occupied areas. Level IT 3 may also be used in conjunction with most underfloor and undertile heating systems
Level IT 3 is ready to receive foot traffic after just 2.5 hours, decorative flooring between 8-12 hours and can be laid up to 12mm, covering an optimum 5.m² at 3mm thickness under good site drying conditions. The pre-measured liquid additives eliminate the need to weigh out on site, thus saving time and reducing the risk of error.
To celebrate the launch of this new innovative product, Ultra Floor are giving away two bags of Patch IT rapid 45®, fast setting, rapid drying mortar, ideal for filling holes, depressions and cracks in cementitious sub-floors, and two bags of Feather IT, feather finish smoothing compound - a scratch coat to fill wood grain and for joints between sheets of plywood, with every pallet of Level IT 3 purchased!
