Cavendish Joinery To Provide Specialist Joinery To The Lowther School
Cavendish Joinery were recently selected by Lakehouse Contracts to provide very specialist joinery to The Lowther School located in London SW13 which was to undergo the building of a large extension to compliment the existing school premises. working closely with the architects, project managers and site personel to achieve an outstanding finished product.
The joinery requirement was quite diverse, including internal fire doors & Oak frames, Oak wall panelling to the exterior and interior of the building, Oak IT desks for the library, kitchen & classroom cupboards, coat hanging units, breakout space low level storage & shoe units in an Oak finish and a huge CNC produced “School” sign for the entrance to the building approximately 3metres high x 12metres long and 25cm thick preserved in a specialist light Oak wood stain.
This £250,000 contract was undertaken and manufactured over a period of 3- 4months during the summer of 2012 in readiness for the opening of new Autumn term in September.
