Bellway's Site Manager Wins Silver Medal
Bellway’s site manager Gary Sidney has picked up the silver medal in the national finals of the NHBC Quality Awards at a ceremony in London.
Gary from Worksop was judged as one of the best site managers in the country for his work at Bellway’s Poppyfields development in Nottingham where he manages a team of around 50 on-site construction workers.
Gary is one of a select number of site managers from across the country that has been recognised in this year's National House-Building Council (NHBC) Quality Awards.
The annual NHBC Pride in the Job Awards are judged over the course of a year across the house-building industry. The award is designed to acknowledge the skills of site managers for their central role in co-ordinating the different trades and products used in house building, and are widely acknowledged as the building industries premier seal of quality.
Gary, 32, lives in Worksop with his partner, son and step daughter and has worked for Bellway since 2009, said: "I am delighted to have been recognised as one of the country’s best site managers and would like to acknowledge the quality of my team on-site who through their skill and dedication have helped me achieve this goal.
"I am delighted to receive this recognition; it is very much a team effort and reflects well upon everyone on site. It provides added confidence to our buyers that they are investing in a first-class product."
