Miller Construction Makes Two National Appointments
Miller Construction has made two key national appointments.
Jeremy Bowley and Nick Salt have joined the leading construction firm as Procurement Director and Director of Rail, respectively.
Jeremy and Nick's appointments highlight the company's strategy to remain focussed on chosen markets and its continued drive to deliver on cost, quality and innovation.
Chris Webster, Chief Executive, Miller Construction, said: "We are delighted to welcome Jeremy and Nick to the team. They both bring with them vast knowledge and a wealth of experience in procurement and the rail market.
"Jeremy will be responsible for driving our procurement plan which will see us focussing on building mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with strategic supply chain partners and Nick will utilise his experience to expand our presence in the rail market and seek growth opportunities where possible."
Jeremy joins Miller from procurement consultancy business Procure4 Ltd where he held the position of Client Solutions Director, responsible for re-designing supply chains for a number of household names in retail, fast moving consumer goods and hospitality.
Commenting on his appointment, Jeremy said: "Miller has a strong presence in the industry and through its client centric approach, has the quality relationships in place to grow. Part of continued success for any organisation is the ability to adapt to customer’s needs over time and I believe this is something which comes naturally to our business. The people here are amongst the most innovative and forward thinking in the industry and it is a privilege to have been offered the opportunity to work alongside them."
Nick previously had responsibility for Morgan Sindall’s rail sector where he helped their infrastructure and regional construction businesses establish a balanced portfolio of work, including partnerships and frameworks within the different regions of Network Rail. He brings with him 20 years' of rail experience.
