Interserve Scoops Project Management Contract
The Consulting arm of Interserve Construction, part of the international support services and construction Interserve group, has won a five-year project management contract with the London Borough of Lambeth with an option to extend by a further two years.
The contract is the culmination of approximately nine months of a competitive dialogue process, during which the council liaised closely with all parties to ensure that all tenders submitted were fully compliant with the guidelines and requirements outlined by the council.
The project management services to be provided by Interserve under the framework cover all core council buildings, and include move management, cost management, space planning, design and Construction Design Management Coordination(CDMC). CDMC will ensure compliance with the Construction, Design and Management health and safety regulations.
Tony Turner, Interserve's Head of Project Management said: "After an intense period of working through the competitive dialogue process to become preferred bidder, we were really pleased to be awarded this prestigious, long-term contract.
"Our focus on high quality, collaborative service delivery meant that we were able to see off some fierce competition. We have already been awarded a number of contracts under the framework and are looking forward to a long, high quality partnership with the London Borough of Lambeth."
