Plant, tool and equipment hire company A-Plant has appointed a new Director to head up its Acrow Division.

Simon Coveney joins A-Plant from PERI and will be responsible for the strategic development of A-Plant’s Acrow formwork, falsework and groundworks division.

He will be responsible for the Acrow operational and sales teams which primary serve the building and civil engineering markets and will also have a responsibility for identifying and developing new markets.


Mr Coveney said: "I am thrilled to be joining A-Plant and looking forward to what I know will be an exciting challenge. I am eager to use my previous experience and expertise to help develop the strategy, innovation and enhancing the product offering under the Acrow name which is a well-established and well-respected brand with the UK hire industry."

He is joining us from one of A-Plant Acrow’s largest competitors, PERI, where he gained over 17 years’ experience in roles including Formwork Design, Sales Management, and most recently Regional Director for South England and Wales, and this experience will be invaluable as we strive to develop new and existing markets for the Acrow business."
