TRAFFEX 2013 is being heralded as one of the best exhibitions in its 26 year history.
The international event for traffic management, road safety and highways maintenance, welcomed some 8195 visitors and 350 exhibitors over its three day duration, as well as providing strong seminar sessions with prominent speakers from the industry.
Instarmac showcased its innovative range of asset management solutions from its Ultracrete brand. This included the HAPAS approved manhole reinstatement system which offers substantial savings on whole life costs. It includes Envirobed HA104® high performance bedding mortar which, to date, has been used in over 250,000 reinstatements with no failures reported! Visitors to the stand also learnt how they can prolong the life of their most important asset by using Ultracrete's revolutionary Rhinophalt® asphalt preservation system. The treatment seals in oils protecting asphalt from the elements and the eventual formation of potholes.
The Instarmac Live! demo area was the star attraction, and saw opponents battling it out against the clock to repair potholes, using Ultracrete's Permanent Pothole Repair, in the Fill & Go Challenge. The competition was a popular feature, attracting crowds of visitors throughout the day. Howard Jones from EnterpriseMouchel secured first place with a time of 1 minute 32 seconds and took home a driving experience for two!
Live Demonstrations from Ultracrete's sister brand, Ultrascape, took place daily which included the renowned BS 7533 compliant Mortar Paving System.
