Chauncey's Oak Flooring in Selfridges New Wine Shop
Leading the way at the forefront of the wine and spirits market, the Selfridges London Wine Shop and the new Harry Gordon's Bar have moved to a larger location on the lower ground floor in their London flagship store.
The designers chose Chauncey's Reclaimed Railway Oak for both the wall cladding and the flooring, which creates instant atmosphere and a rich, aged feel.
To see more photos of this project using Chauncey's Reclaimed French Railway Oak please look at this project page on the Chauncey's website.
The rest of the flooring has been exclusively finished in Chauncey's end grain oak blocks (below), which create a wonderful intimate atmosphere in the exclusive wine sections of the wine shop.
For more photos of the end grain blocks in this project please look at this project page on the Chauncey's website.
In the Selfridges wine shop you’ll find a hand-picked range of 900 wines, 300 champagnes and 200 beers and the space also features three enomatic machines, allowing you to taste a selection of the best!
For the rest of May, Selfridges are celebrating their new wine shop with prize draws, free tastings and complimentary cocktails in Harry Gordon's Bar - so why not drop in and have a look?
