United House Completes £3m Contract
Specialist London housing contractor United House has completed a £3 million contract to build a luxury residential development on Tadema Road in Chelsea on behalf of property company Goldpenny.
Comprising four triple storey high specification houses and one duplex apartment, the development includes underground car parking for five vehicles including a secure car lift set behind bi-folding gates. There is also commercial space on the ground floor of the scheme. Prior to development, the site was a vacant plot of land situated between surrounding residential buildings.
United House began work on the scheme in late 2011 and completed the project in April 2013. The finished result is very impressive – the development blends seamlessly with the surrounding Chelsea vernacular housing stock, comprising golden brown brickwork and slate tile roofs, whilst its internal courtyard features stylish hard landscaping and planting.
Keith Ewart, Development Manager at Goldpenny, said: "United House has produced an excellent product and together with their design team, clearly added considerable value to the development, which had to be carved out of one of the most congested and constricted development sites that I have ever commissioned."
