Kabco Attend First Meeting Of The Manufacturers Alliance

Recently Kabco Products attended the first meeting of the Manufacturers Alliance, which was held at C&C Baseline in Standish.

The Manufacturers Alliance, chaired by Gary Sheader, has been established to bring together a selection of decision makers from the manufacturing community to help each other reach their own version of success.

The day was split in to two workshops.

The morning workshop was titled 'Leadership and the Art of Delegation' and was led by Eirian Baker of XCL International. The session set out to give attendees facilitation tools to aid delegation and engagement; identify attendees own intervention styles; and also offered Heron's categories of intervention as an intervention model.

In the afternoon, the workshop was a Problem Solving session, in which delegates had an opportunity to put forward issues that they are facing within their organisations and the remaining attendees offer any advice or support based on their own experiences.

After a successful day with lots of positive feedback, the first meeting of the Manufacturers Alliance was deemed to be a success by the organisers and members currently include C & C Baseline, Ian Lucas Security Shutters, Rufflette, Jaftextil Soft Furnishings, Nash Mechanical Seals, Pneumatrol, Baerlocher UK, Ritherdon & Packaging Automation.
