An estate agent and potential home buyer have been left injured after they fell through the floor of a house during a viewing.
The man and woman were taken to hospital after they fell into the cellar of the end terrace property in Nottingham.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene shortly before 5.30pm on Saturday (26 September), to reports that two people had fallen through floorboards into the cellar.
An ambulance spokeswoman said the woman had head injuries and the man had back pain and both had been taken to hospital for further assessment and treatment.
According to the BBC, the Grade-II listed building on Promenade, near Sneinton Market, is due to go to auction on 10 October.
The house is owned by Nottingham City Council and it said it was investigating how the "terrible freak accident" happened.
A Nottingham City Council spokesman said: "This appears to have been a terrible freak accident at a property we have been trying to sell which has been empty for a number of years.
"We're investigating how this happened and have secured the building until structural engineers have established what needs to be done to make sure the building is safe."
Savills, which is selling the property, added: "Our first concerns are with the two people hurt, one of whom is a Savills employee. We wish them a full and speedy recovery."
