Lakesmere is set to be involved in two of London's most exciting regenerations schemes after securing contracts to complete work as part of the large-scale redevelopment of the King's Cross and Greenwich Peninsular areas of London.

Working with main contractor Carillion for client Kings Cross Central Limited Partnership, Lakesmere’s specialist façade team McMullen will install an extensive package that includes curtain walling, glazing and rooflights to Building P1, a new mixed-use development in King’s Cross. The new building will comprise a mixture of residential, commercial community and educational facilities including the incorporation of two schools and a nursery.


Lakesmere will also be utilising its BIM expertise following the team’s appointment to work with main contractor Wates and architects Marks Barfield to help create the eye-catching Greenwich Marketing Hub for the South London Greenwich Peninsular redevelopment project. Located opposite to the O2 Arena on the banks of the River Thames, the striking new building will be four-storeys high and will feature a striking envelope package of gold coloured Kalzip and Kalzip XT aluminium standing seam.

Lakesmere will commence work on both projects in Spring 2014.
