Miller Appointed To North Wales Schools And Public Buildings Contractor Framework
In this latest framework success, Miller is one of seven firms appointed to the North Wales Schools and Public Buildings Contractor Framework which includes delivery of the high profile 21st Century School building programme across the region.
Appointment to the framework, which will be delivered over the next four to seven years, covers a number of projects which are committed to be delivered by Denbighshire County Council, Conwy County Borough Council, Flintshire County Council, Gwynedd County Council, Wrexham County Borough Council and the Isle of Anglesey County Council.
The 21st Century Schools Programme is a unique collaboration between the Welsh Government, the Welsh Local Government Association and local authorities with goal to deliver a generation of 21st century schools in Wales. In addition, the framework will also include a range of wider public building developments across North Wales.
Miller has been appointed to each of the lots allocated on the framework, which include: [Lot 1] projects from £4.35m - £7.5m, [Lot 2] projects from £7.5m - £15m and is one of only three contractors appointed to the high value Lot [Lot 3] to deliver projects exceeding £15m.
The framework is a joint project funded by the Welsh Government's Department for Education and Skills is led by Denbighshire and Flintshire County Councils on behalf of the six North Wales' local authorities.
