Attack Mould In Damp Properties With Twistfix Products
The recent studies suggesting a link between mould in damp properties and an increased risk of Parkinson's Disease to those that dwell within them has led to a surge in the amount of mould removal jobs requested of contractors.
Make sure you are fully equipped to deal with these new work opportunities with the Twistfix range of professional mould removal products.
The first step is to attack the existing mould which, as it is constantly releasing spores, is already having a negative impact on the occupants of the building. Twistfix Mould Remover, supplied in concentrated 5L form that renders 25L of solution, is a professional mould-killer that effectively sterilises the papered or painted surface it is applied to, quickly eradicating all mould spores. The initial mould removal treatment is followed by the stripping of contaminated paint or paper; the formula acts as an effective stripping agent on papered surfaces. After the affected paint or paper is removed, a second treatment completely cleans the surface and removes all residue of mould spores, leaving the area ready for redecoration.
When refinishing an area that has undergone this mould removal process, the use of a fungicidal paint additive is recommended to prevent recurrence of the problem. Twistfix Fungicidal Paint Additive can be used in a variety of media such as solvent-based primer, gloss paint, tiling grout, undercoat, wallpaper paste, emulsion and anti-condensation paint, offering fungicidal protection by inhibiting mould growth. The product negates the need for specialised fungicidal paints, offering a far more cost-effective solution.
Condensation is a major cause of damp which in turn leads to the growth of mould. Twistfix offer a wide selection of solutions to this ubiquitous problem, from heat-recovery fans and spray foam insulation kits to anti-condensation paint and damp proofing kits. Please browse our extensive website or contact our skilled technical team for further information on reducing the likelihood of condensation in any kind of property.
