The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has appointed two new directors following an open internal and external recruitment process, the Agency has announced.

Fiona MacGregor has been appointed as Executive Director of Programmes, replacing Richard Hill who left the Agency last year; while Naz Parkar has been appointed as Executive Director for the North East, Yorkshire and The Humber operating area, following the retirement of David Curtis in January.


Naz Parkar is currently a Head of Area at the HCA, covering the Agency's Leeds City region and North Yorkshire, and has been acting operating area director since January. Naz has been with the HCA since its inception in 2008, having worked in the housing sector since 1990 across a range of disciplines including homelessness, housing management, investment and regeneration.

Fiona is currently Head of Affordable Housing at the HCA. Prior to this Fiona performed a similar role at the Housing Corporation after joining from London and Quadrant Housing Trust where she was responsible for their development programme in their North Thames Region.

Fiona and Naz will take up their new positions on 1 June.
