Exclusive Training Event On The World's Only True Liquid EPDM
The one coat, instantly waterproof system, EPDM Liquid Rubber, opens its doors for a free training and installation workshop.
EPDM Liquid Rubber has been successfully used to refurbish notoriously difficult failing roofs. From large corroded metal roofs, to small garage roofs, Liquid Rubber has proven its performance. Now this product, the only real EPDM in liquid form, is available to the UK market from Alltimes Coatings. The free one day training courses will take place on the 25th, 26th and 27th of June at the UK head office near Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Manufactured in the US to stringent regulations Liquid Rubber has been used to successfully re-waterproof and protect 1000’s of roof over its 23 years of use. EPDM membranes have been used for over 50 years, now all of these benefits are available in a liquid form, and in 3 colours.
Unlike most coatings Liquid Rubber is immediately waterproof and its final cure is unaffected by temperature and humidity. Curing times allow effective installation and the self-smoothing finish in grey, black or white enables an aesthetically pleasing solution. The liquid coating waterproofs with one coat on most substrates including membrane roofing, fibreglass, and corroded metal.
EPDM Liquid Rubber is often used to line corroded gutters and coat metal roofs including a cut edge corrosion treatment, as its chemical composition both waterproofs and prevents further deterioration. Gutters and roofs with ponding water are also common applications for use.
The 1 day training course covers the following:
Chemistry of the product, how does it work?
Application and detailing
The most suitable applications for one coat use
Demonstration and practical application on different substrates
Metal roofing
Felt & Bitumen
Asphalt
Fibreglass/GRP
Single Ply Membranes
Fail proof installation techniques
Demonstration – Completely hydrophobic – watch it chase water away
Certificate of attendance and registered contractor status to offer a 10 year guarantee
The 1 day (9am-3pm) Liquid Rubber EPDM free training course is offered to suitable roofing contractors who do repair and refurbishment work on existing membranes, felt, asphalt, GRP and metal roofs and gutter repairs. Places are limited to 12 operatives per day over the 3 days with maximum of 2 attendees per roofing contractor.
To register your interest in attending, or to find out more about EPDM liquid, email info@alltimescoatings.co.uk or call 01453 872850.
