Kier Signs £4.5m Makeover Contract
The repairs and maintenance provider Kier has signed an agreement with not-for-profit housing provider Four Housing, it has been announced.
Kier will provide homes in Berwick with a makeover as part of the £4.5m contract, which will run for three years, until 2017.
The maintenance works will include upgrades to roofs, doors, paving, kitchens and bathrooms, as well as electrical, heating and plumbing.
Mike Furze, Kier Regional Director, said: "We are delighted to have been appointed to work with Four Housing to provide major maintenance works to its properties. We look forward to working closely with residents and this opportunity further enhances Kier's well-established status as the country's leading provider of public sector maintenance services."
David Brown, Head of Assets at Four Housing, added: "We are committed to maintaining and improving our customers' homes and are looking forward to working with Kier on this project. It represents a significant investment for Four Housing, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to providing quality homes in the Berwick area."
