Wates Construction had a helping hand with the interior decorating from the Mayor of North Warwickshire, Councillor Ray Sweet, at the new £4.2m Coleshill Leisure Centre.

With construction of North Warwickshire Borough Council's building now complete, work on the interior fit out is well underway, including the finishing touches to changing rooms, the installation of timber flooring and completion of sports courts.


The new facility will provide basketball and badminton courts, indoor five-a-side football facilities plus a state-of-the-art gym, a dance studio and two squash courts.

Richard Scarrott, Operations Director, Wates Construction, commented: "Work on the new Coleshill Leisure Centre is progressing extremely well, but it’s always great to welcome a helping hand on to the site. The new facility is set to become an invaluable recreational space for the community and there is definitely a sense of excitement building as we move steadfastly towards completion this autumn."

The work is expected to be completed in October 2014.
