Weblight has won Contractor of The Year at the ECA's Electric Awards.

Last month, The Electric Event, the ECA's UK conference, was held at the ICC in Birmingham. Over 900 visitors attended and Weblight was amongst them.

Last year's event saw the launch of the first ECA Gala Awards dinner, recognising business excellence across the ECA membership, and Weblight was awarded a highly commended certificate in the Medium Sized Contractor of the Year category which covers contractors with turnover between £5m and £25m.


This year, the company has gone one better and scooped the prize of Contractor of the Year for the same turnover category.

Managing Director Mike Thompson collected the trophy and said: "These awards are becoming very well known and the quality of entries is very strong.

"It is tremendously satisfying to win this accolade as the submission required testimonials from our clients as well as details about how the company operates.
