Further Funding Announced For Coastal Defence Improvements In West Rhyl
The Welsh Government has announced £1.9m in further funding for flood defence improvements in West Rhyl.
The investment brings the Welsh Government's funding to £6.3m for the overall scheme which, once completed, will mean a reduced flood risk to more than 2,600 residential homes and commercial properties in the area.

The scheme will see improvements to the original, vulnerable sea wall, which was built over 70 years ago, and will include the construction of a concrete revetment, wave walls and a widened promenade to provide a wave splash zone.
