Sovereign Housing Association has announced it is to develop 85 homes in Bristol.
The three sites are at Bath Road, Brislington, Hotwell Road, Hotwells and the old Gas World showroom in Redcliffe.
Twenty-six two-bedroom apartments for Shared Ownership will be built on the site of the former Gas World showroom on Redcliff Street. The new homes have been designed by Bristol architects O'LearyGoss and will be developed on behalf of Sovereign by Fremantle Developments Limited.
The new homes on Redcliff Street are expected to be completed in spring 2016.
Work is under way on another development at 151 Hotwell Road, in the Hotwells area, where Carter Construction is building seven Shared Ownership homes for Sovereign.
A derelict building which stood on the site, on the southern side of Hotwell Road within the City Docks Conservation Area, has been demolished. The new apartments will be completed in early 2016.
Work at the largest of the three sites, Bath Road, Brislington, is now under way. Sovereign will provide a total of 52 new homes in this development, 31 for Affordable Rent and 21 for Shared Ownership.
The location recently used by the Bristol Gospel Hall Trust, but after its relocation to new premises, the site became available for redevelopment.
Work at the site will also entail the refurbishment of Lynwood House, a Grade II listed building that has stood empty for a number of years and has fallen into a severe state of disrepair. Four apartments for Shared Ownership will be included in the building.
The Bath Road redevelopment is expected to be completed by early 2017.
