Miller Developments has completed a further sale of land at its site in Paisley in Scotland to national housebuilder Persimmon Homes.
The move marks the third sale of residential land on the site off Linwood Road to Persimmon. The brownfield site is expected to deliver almost 150 new homes. It has already been granted residential planning permission and work is now underway.
Colin Graham, Associate Director at Miller Developments, said: "We are delighted to have concluded this important deal with Persimmon. On completion the proposed housing development will make a significant contribution to the area's overall rejuvenation.
"We will now focus on our plans for the remainder of the site, which we anticipate will be suitable for further residential development."
Doug Law, MD at Persimmon Homes, said: "Our strong sales performance at phase 1 and our first release on phase 2 has benefited substantially from the Government's Help to Buy scheme and we are hoping for more success from our option with Miller on further land."
Miller Developments acquired the 120 acre site at Linwood in 2011. It has also sold land to Arnold Clark and Greene King for its first Cloverleaf family restaurant in Scotland.
