Swansway To Invest £12m In New Centres

Swansway Group is to invest £12 million into three new centres across the North West.

The group's Honda site on Queensway in Rochdale will be demolished and redeveloped into a new van facility, costing £3.5 million.

The group will also invest £4.5 million into a new Jaguar centre in Crewe and provide a further £4 million towards a FIAT and Citroen facility in Chester.


Swansway Group Director, Peter Smyth, said: "We’re looking forward to expanding our operations across the North West, this is merely a continuation of our on-going investment, and it’s interesting to see that recent talk about the ‘Northern Powerhouse’ has brought more focus on our area."

The sites are due to open in 2016.
