Procare has announced the appointment of Steve Cook to the role of Divisional Managing Director (MD) of Construction and Special Projects.

Mr Cook joins the building services company from Jarvis Contracting where he was MD for 14 years.

Procare stated the organisation is looking to expand its construction division.

Mr Cook has over 40 years experience in the construction industry, joining Jarvis as an apprentice carpenter.


He progressed through the company's training programme, holding the roles of Contracts Manager and Construction Director.

He was appointed as MD of Jarvis in 2000.

Group Managing Director of Procare, David Williams, said: "To bring in someone with Steve’s talent and experience is testament to the hard work put in by the team that we already have in place here at Procare. We have ambitious growth plans for our Construction Division and we believe that Steve is the right person to take us to the next level."

Mr Cook added: "My goal was to join a company that I could influence and have a real impact upon and in Procare I think I’ve found the ideal match.

"It’s well-established with an excellent reputation and huge potential and I am looking forward to the opportunity to strengthen and grow its Construction Division."
