Resurfacing Work To Begin On A19 Carriageway

Highways England has announced overnight closures will take place next week due to planned resurfacing works on the A19 carriageway in North Yorkshire.

The closures will be in place while over five miles of the carriageway between Osmotherley and South Kilvinton is resurfaced.


The road will be closed from 6 September to 2 October between 8pm and 6am.

There will be a 50mph speed limit in place during the day as a temporary road surface will be in place.

During the work, traffic will be directed via the A684 Osmotherley Interchange southbound exit slip road, the A684 to Northallerton, the A168 to the A19/A61 South Kilvington Interchange, where traffic will rejoin the A19 viasouthbound entry slip road.
