CES has travelled to Brooklands College in Ashford to deliver a selection of Tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Bricklaying and Multi Trade Students to use in its new workshop.
Originally, the company got in touch with Christian Hatherall-Good (Bricklaying Tutor) through Twitter where he showed an immediate interest in getting some new tools for the Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Bricklaying Students. Once he found out CES also stocked plastering tools, he passed the company's details onto Jonathon Cooper (Multi Trades Tutor) who looked into getting the Multi Trade students some new tools for their work which includes Bricklaying, Plastering and Carpentry
Christian Hatherall-Good, Bricklaying Tutor said: "After approaching local company CES hire on twitter. I was greeted with a friendly response, enquiring what construction courses Brooklands College were running and how CES Hire could be of assistance. CES then approached me to see if they could help support the quality of training by offering a substantial discount on tools and forge a link with the construction department. This is great for the students as we can provide them with quality tools to use for their training, giving them a great start in their construction careers. As there is a shortage of skilled tradesman and a growing need for more houses, I thank CES Hire for helping the future of construction at Brooklands College."
Nick Rogers, Director of CES said: "We are pleased to have made the connection with Christian, Jonathon and Andrew of Brooklands College and to be able to supply them with quality tools and PPE. It was interesting to visit them today and see the bricklayers in action. Seeing just how quickly they are progressing in their trade, with the help and guidance of Christian, I'm sure they will become successful tradespeople! We wish them all success in their courses and for the future."
