Lovell To Deliver £2.4m Housing Development In Wales
Lovell has been appointed to deliver a £2.4 million housing development in Wales.
The developer will build 21 'affordable' homes for Pennaf Housing Group at Hawarden in Flintshire.
It is understood the Welsh Government released the land to Pennaf after originally designating the Aston Mead site for road improvements.
The 11-month project is being funded by a £660,000 Social Housing Grant from the Welsh Government along with private finance from Pennaf.
Lovell regional director Nigel Yates said: "We're delighted to be working with Pennaf on this new development which will help answer the pressing need for high-quality new affordable homes locally."
Councillor Helen Brown added: "I'm delighted that work on this scheme is about to start and look forward to seeing much needed new affordable housing for local people in this area.
The finished homes will be managed by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association and construction is due to get underway next month.
