MiniTec Develops Rugby Championship Mobile Shelter

Construction News Image
Rugby Union has been in the public eye earlier this year with the six nation's championship and the national league championship captivating the sporting world.

MiniTec were delighted then when approached by the championship organisers to design and construct a mobile shelter to be used to promote premiership rugby on match days.

The shelter is constructed with Minitec's easy to assemble aluminium profile system and was designed by the team at MiniTec so that it could be easy to load/unload to transport between the different venues of the championship.

The shelter has a curved back as protection against the elements and includes a table to display the championship cup and customised seats with unique embroidery features, all designed to promote the brand of championship rugby.

The shelter was designed to the customer requirement and the whole process from design to finished product took just 5 weeks.

Truly the art of simplicity with MiniTec profile systems

MiniTec UK Ltd is one of the leading manufacturers of modular aluminium profile building systems used throughout Industry, Leisure and Retail.

Keeping it simple – from design to installation

At the heart of the MiniTec system is the unique Powerlock fastening method which requires no specific preparation, pre-machining or special tools and uses standard off the shelf fasteners. The use of standard fasteners reduces the cost of the overall package of profiles and locking system considerably compared with many other systems which incorporate brand specific locking systems.

The Basingstoke operation offers a complete sales support, engineering and design, custom manufacturing and installation service.
