Work Begins On £6m Leisure Complex In Suffolk

Work is underway on a new £6 million leisure complex in Suffolk.

Bowmer & Kirkland is developing Center Parcs' newest modern hotel and spa facility at Elveden Forest.

Designed by architectural firm CPMG, features will include 48 self-catering rooms with en-suites, adjacent to a nine-hole golf course.

The new development will replace an existing hotel and is set to be completed in autumn 2016.

Chris White, project director for CPMG, said: "We have made significant inroads for clients requiring hotels and this is one that we are delighted to see take shape recently.

"The new hotel has been designed around the visitors' needs; we incorporated a subtle entrance area and elevation leading to external balcony spaces which will provide a relaxed and spacious setting for guests.

"Sensitive use of natural materials incorporated into the designs ensure that new building compliments the existing landscape.

"Based on three floors, all 48 rooms will have a stunning view of the golf course and will sit adjacent to the spa and restaurant facilities."
