Ground Developments Appoints Piling Expert Stuart Cain

Ground Developments has appointed piling industry expert Stuart Cain to lead its new larger piling division.

The firm plans to expand the division after a "solid" start to the year with the firm's announcement of both new premises and a £1 million investment in plant earlier this year.

Mr Cain has worked on a number of large-scale earthworks projects across Canada, Ireland and the UK.

Kevin Mackenzie, Commercial Director for Ground Developments said: "Stuart's appointment and our commitment to upscale our piling division demonstrates both our investment, willingness and our capability to provide our services throughout the UK.

"We believe that Stuart's experience on a variety of key projects nationally will naturally complement the existing range of groundwork improvement services that we offer, and provide the perfect platform to increase the capabilities of our piling division."
